WE'RE HERE!!!!

Hey Family and Friends-

I finally decided to create one of these blogs. I sure hope I do it right. Bear with me if it's not the greatest. I'm not the sharpest tool in the tool shed. He! He! He!

Tim is still working for Marvin Windows and bringing home the bacon so I can fry it up in a pan. He just turned 37 and is noticing more gray hairs on the top of his head. Oh well, I told him at least he's not losing his hair already! He's getting antsy to get outdoors to mow the lawn and use his new weed whacker. It's a man thing. He is King of the Rider around these parts. I still get a kick out of watching him when he's doing stuff outdoors. That's my Timmy Bear!!! :)

I'm still a super (well, some days) stay-at-home mom. I should wear a CAPE you know...I guess I have to settle for a apron instead. Hahaha...I've been enjoying watching all my babies grow, learn and have fun this year. I've been busy taking pictures, running around for school/church functions and spending time with my little family. I'm thankful for my little home and my sweet family that fills it.

Grant is growing like a weed! He's going to be way taller than Tim when he's done growing. He's already 5' tall and just barely turned 10 yrs. old. He's not really an athletic kid but he does love reading. He won a gift certificate from Holiday Station for earning 100 AR points earlier this school year for his reading. Grant has earned some extra money from us also for his A's in school. We pay them money for each 'A' they receive on their report card. Let's just say we're going to go broke just keeping up with all of his A's! Buddy does love running around like a wild odie with his friends though. His favorite past-time is playing video games, being in Cub Scouts, watching Harry Potter movies and playing on the computer.

Alexys is all girl though. She loves to dance, sing, play dress-up and 'mother hen' her baby sister. There has been a lot of people telling us we should get her into singing lessons and jazz dance because she's got the spunk to go far. Our sweetie pie is very social and loves to be where the action is. I love the fact that she doesn't get scared performing in front of people. We might have someone destined for Hollywood! Alexys is getting excited about summer and planting a garden. I hope that she will be the one with the green thumb in the family. We're getting anxious for some warm weather around here so we can plant some flowers soon. Minnesota can be so unpredictable!

Jocelynn is growing like a weed too! She loves to stretch and grab for things now. She's sitting on her own and is trying to figure things out. She is the most content baby you will ever meet. She loves to smile and be held too. She's not spoiled at all....just loved a lot....ok maybe she's spoiled a little. How can you not spoil our little Honeybear?!? Jocelynn is still very tall and chubby. Why are babies so cute when they are chubby but if you're my age being chubby isn't so cute anymore??? hehehe We are so happy that we have another baby in our home again. Jocelynn has been such a blessing and as cute as a bug too.

Well, I hope that I did this right. Catch up with ya all later! Take care and remember to find humor in all things!~~~~The Halstensgard Family
